The marlin is a more accurate rifle but the 10/22 beats in pretty much every other department. Autos are a blast to shoot cans, bottles and things thrown up in the air. It takes magazines which always an advantage, the aftermarket parts supply is massive compared to the model 60 and neither seem to be inherently more reliable than the other. The marlin xt-22 is bolt action so jams isnt really a problem but wont be nearly as fun of a gun as the Ruger.
